AP/Dual Enrollment:
Psychology
This college-level course is designed to introduce students to the field of psychology, promote critical thinking skills, develop scientific writing skills, as well as prepare students for the AP Psychology Exam. The class will consist of lecture, discussions; both individual and small group research projects, and debates about current issues representing different aspects of the field of psychology.

This is blend course, meaning you will submit several assignment on Canvas, a learning management system, with daily in-class activities. Canvas login is tempeunion.instructure.com. Your username and password is the same as studentvue. You will submit almost all assignments, particularly outline, test and quizzes, into Canvas for grading.
It is expected that students have enroll in this course for college credit. There are two opportunities to receive credit for this course. Students can either enroll in the dual enrollment program through Rio Salado. The deadline for paperwork submission is August 22th to Ms. Pompa in the library. Or students can take the Advanced Placement Psychology Exam in May. Enrollment is in March. More information about the AP Exam will follow in the future.
